(Salt Lake City)Three States, New Jersey, New York and Illinois have taken matters into their own hands and have issued strict Ebola quarantine guidelines. Here in Utah, officials are keeping a close watch, they say. Dr. B. Dee Allred, President of the Utah Medical Association, said he can’t speak for or against New Jersey’s protocol, but says decisions must be made with common sense and in a timely manner.
“The way this grows, it has to be,” said Allred.
According to Dr. Allred, the Utah medical community is staying on top of the needs here in the stay as they pertain to Ebola.
