(Moab Utah)- Grand County High School officials have been discussing with parents and community members, plans to improve both state and national test scores. In a recent test, the school scored an “F”. Principal, Steve Hren is holding a series of community-parent meetings to discuss the plan and to get parent input and participation in the plan. Hren told KCYN-KCPX earlier, that he intends to be more proactive in involving students and the parent community in the process. Those attending last night’s meeting at the hospital community room, overflowed into the hallway. The next community meeting will be in a larger room at the High School Tech building, March 2nd. Parents were generally pleased with the direction of more parental involvement in the school.
