Governor Say White House Won’t Make Monument

220px-Gary_Herbert_crop(Salt Lake City)- Governor Gary Herbert repeated for Salt Lake Reporters, Wednesday, what he told KCYN in an on air appearance earlier this week: he has been assured by the top levels of the Obama administration that the White House won’t designate Canyonlands as an expanded National monument as long as a more comprehensive public-lands effort is making headway. That is reference to the proposed Bishop Lands Bill.
