Echo Reservoir Illegally Stocked With Walleye

(Coalville, UT) — Utah’s Division of Wildlife confirms walleye have been illegally stocked in Echo Reservoir near Coalville. Officials are concerned because they say the fish doesn’t belong there. They say Walleye feed on other fish and are prolific breeders, endangering native fish populations.

Crane Strikes Overpass

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The portion of southbound I-15 near Lindon is back open where a construction crane struck an overpass this morning. Utah Highway Patrol says no one was injured after the crane hauled by a flatbed smacked the overpass. It took a few hours for the wreckage to be removed.
