Wasatch Front Seeing Record Warmth

(Salt Lake City, UT)  —  Record-high temps are expected today along the Wasatch Front and other towns in Utah.  Salt Lake City’s expected high of 75 would beat 2015’s record of 73 degrees.  Record highs are also expected in Cedar City, Logan, Delta and Alta.

Salt Lake County Sets Jail Limit

(Salt Lake City, UT)  —  Salt Lake County’s jail capacity is set at a maximum of 2,050 inmates.  That’s after a vote last night by the County Council.  The council is calling for Sheriff Jim Winder to come up with ways to reduce the number of new inmates coming into the system.
