National Park Visitor Spending Topped One Billion In Utah

(Utah)  —  Visitors to Utah’s national parks spent an awful lot of money in the state in 2016.  A report from the National Park Service released yesterday revealed the more than 14 million visitors to the parks last year spent more than half a billion dollars on hotels and restaurants.  The grand total that visitors spent is about 1.1 billion dollars in the Beehive State, according to the NPS report.
