Holiday Gas Prices Are Far Cheaper Than Last Year

gas pumps(Salt Lake City, UT)   —  Gas prices in Salt Lake City are more than 60-cents a gallon cheaper heading into the July Fourth holiday weekend than they were last year at this time.  Unleaded regular is averaging two-dollars 95-cents a gallon, down from two-dollars 98-cents a gallon last week in the metro area.  However, unleaded regular was averaging three-dollars 61-cents a gallon heading into the Fourth of July weekend last year.
