July 17, 2017

(Grand Junction, CO) — Grand Junction is being praised by environmental advocates for a major bio-gas project. The Persigo Wastewater Treatment Plant not only traps water, but also captures methane gas and turns it into fuel. City officials say the gas is then used in city cars, personal vehicles and buses. National Geographic is planning to do a program on the project sometime this fall.
