Grand County Council To Meet on Lands Bill

Grand County(Moab Utah) The Grand County Council holds a special meeting this morning at 10am in Council Chambers to bring the newly elected councilmembers up to date on the Grand County input into the proposed Bishop Lands Bill. That portion of the meeting will be a work session on county position and observers say, you can several changes in the county position may be proposed. Environmental groups are also expected to offer their view of how the land use map should look. The County Council will also hold a public hearing on what projects may be applied for under Utah’s Community Development Block Grant Program.
