Gas Prices Level Off

gas pumpsSALT LAKE CITY – After Utah had the largest increase in gas prices in the country last month, the state’s prices have held steady this month with a slight decrease in most cities says a report by AAA. The current average price for a gallon of gas in Utah is $3.57. This is $0.02 lower than a week ago and $0.16 lower than a year ago. All of the cities in Utah tracked by AAA report decreases since last month except for Vernal, where the price remained the same. Both Ogden and Provo saw the greatest drop in prices with a decrease of $0.05. In Salt Lake the average price only dropped $0.01. In Moab, the price for regular unleaded ranged from 3.63 to 3.75 a gallon.
