Black Oil Stores Sold to 7-11 Franchisee

BlackOilDoor_stitched24hour(Monticello Utah)- The San Juan record reports that Black oil Company has sold all of its “OutWest Food and Fuel” Convenience stores in Thompson, Moab, Monticello and Mexican hat to Resort Retailers of Park City. Resort Retailers, Based in Park City, operates a number of convenience stores around Utah, under the 7-11 Brand.  Over the next few months, Resort Retailers will convert the former Black oil Stores to 7-11’s and will maintain the Shell Fuel Brand at the stores. Last year the firm purchased the Walkers Convenience stores in Moab, Wellington, Kanab and Hurricane.  The Black Oil buyout also includes Resort buying the Black Oil Headquarters in Monticello.
