February 5, 2015

Great Lakes(Moab Utah)- Both the Grand County Airport Board and the Grand County Council are recommending the approval of Great Lake’s Airlines application to provide the Federal Essential Air Service Contract for Moab. Great Lake proposes to operate two flights a day between Moab and Denver using a larger 30 passenger turboprop aircraft than what it used when it previously had the contract. Great Lakes Officials told the county board they are also talking with Sky West Airlines to obtain more of that aircraft, which Skywest is retiring. Great Lake says it hopes to begin service May First, if it is awarded the contract.
