In his 2017 State of the State address, Gov. Gary R. Hebert challenged Utah businesses to build 25,000 jobs throughout rural Utah in the next four years. This initiative brings partners from all corners of the state to engage with rural communities and explore new opportunities.
Governor Herbert and Lieutenant Governor Cox, through the Utah World Trade Center, are launching and publicizing their new initiative to encourage job growth in rural Utah by taking a team to many rural areas over the next few months to host a free lunch and sort of community get-together to offer resources to job-seekers and job-providers. They will be in Moab August 10 at Lion’s Park and will provide tables for vendors. Employers, prospective employees and their families, government officials, education officials, etc. are all invited to attend.
Please help pass the word along to the entire community (families are invited as well) about this State visit. They will bring resources that both job-seekers and job-providers will find helpful.
